1. Ensure that the chassis numbers were not scratched off yet because this may indicate a stolen bike.
2. Check for obvious damage like torn seat, broken plastics, worn tires, damaged handle bars, broken brake levers and clutch, and damage sprockets and chain.
3. Verify the frame by looking for cracks, old repair jobs, and fractures.
4. Look for cracks on the rims as well.
5. In case there are obvious grooves on the part where the pads would touch, it is a sign that the bike was used with care by its previous owner.
6. The radiator shouldn’t have cracks and bents. Be sure that it does not leak and is topped up.
7. Allow the bike to be in stand while having the rear wheel away from the ground. Move the rear of swingarm to verify its condition.
8. The fork seals must not leak. If they are, there will be oil traces on the front forks.
